　　《语义句法模式识别及其应用》作者戴汝为自上世纪70年代把当时新型学科模式识别介绍到国内，80年代在模式识别国际会议上发表论文，提出语义、句法模式识别，来自奠定了在线手写汉字识别的理论基础，从而形成了汉字识别的一系列发展;在此基础上，进一步从学科交叉研究，运用系统论的观点和综合集成的方法论，在离线汉字识别方面又取得了重要进展。这些工作为我国汉字识别领域做出了重大贡献。
