来自　　作为成军于83年的360百科佛罗里达前卫金属乐团。

　　1981. Jon Oliva和Criss Oliva两兄弟在佛罗里达组建了一个地下乐队Avatar 其他成员还包括 鼓手Stev境蛋鲁e Wacholz 贝司手Keit来自h Collins

　　1982. Avatar为一张合集录制了两首作品 烈又补书自秋合煤唱片公司是 Florida radio station WYNF

　　1983. Avatar360百科发行了一张(EP)City Beneath The Su九夜越万阳rface 由于一些法律上的原因 Avatar将名字改成了Savatage 氧半企难孙当火并且发行了他们的第一张专辑Sirens

　　1984. Savatage发行专辑The Dungeons Are Calling 然后与Atlantic Records签约

课般宪反居面死　　1985. Savatage发行他们在Atlantic的第一张专辑Power of the Night 然后是神随规山兵判乐队举行了第一次巡演

　　1986. 贝司手Johnny Lee Middleton 加入乐队 专辑Fight For The Rock发行 同时第一次去欧洲演出为Motorhead作暖场乐队 在一次演出当中与制作人Paul O'Neill相识

　　1987. Atlantic聘请Paul O'Neill为Savatage制作新专辑 这也开始了一段长久的友谊 专辑Hall of the Mountain King发行 其中包括了乐队第 一首融入了交响乐元素的作品 "Prelude to Madness," 同时专辑同名歌曲也被拍成了music video 这也是Savatage的第一首音乐录影带

　　1988. Savatage与Dio和Megadeth稳员因右阻具密年得举行了联合美国巡演 节当侵合纪背生美玉为奏吉他手Chris Caffery作为巡演嘉宾加入乐队 音乐录影带24 Hours Ago发行 然后参加MTV的著名节目 "Headbanger's Ball"

　　1989. Caffery正式加入Savatage 同时乐队的第六张专辑Gut势七ter Ballet发行

　　1990. Savatage举行了为期9个月的世界巡演 参与的乐队还包括Testament和King Diamond.巡演结束后 Caffery离开了乐队 Savata杀地烈项ge还录制了两首新的录影带"Gutter Ballet"和"When The Crowds Are Gone"

　　1991. 与O'Neill合作 Savatage录制了第一张摇滚歌剧Streets 同时拍摄了两首Video "Jesus Saves" 和 "New York Ci们那ty Don't Mean Nothing"但是只有前一首被发行 之后再一次举办世界巡演

　　1992. 由于越来越觉得力不从心 Jon O交个掉企liva决定放弃主唱的位置 专心于幕后制作和器乐演奏 Zachary Stevens正式成为乐队的新任主唱

　　1993. Savatage的第八张专辑 Edge of Thorns发行 但是Wacholz和Jon Oliva 决定不参与之后的乐队世界巡演 随后拍摄Music videos "Edge of Thorns" 和 "Sleep" are filmed. 1州队准黑海0月份 Criss Oliva在一次交通意外中丧生 他参与录制的最后一首歌是"Shotgun Innocence."
