本书从LaTeX的基础知识开始,逐步深入,直到论文写作的实际套用,文字精炼,内容丰富,配有大量示例和图表资料以及命令索引,并附带DVD资料光碟,其中收录有中文LaTeX系统和书中全部363个示例的源档案。本书可作为LaTeX的入门教材,更适合作为大学师生、科研人员在使用LaTeX写作论文、报告时的工具书。
前言
1978年美国着名数学家与计算机专家,史丹福大学的DonaldE.Knuth教授发明TeX排版系统,其精美的排版效果立即引起学术界和出版界的一片讚叹,美国数学学会率先採用。1985年美国数学家与计算机专家LeslieLamport博士,在TeX的基础上开发出更便于普通用户掌握的LaTeX排版系统。1989年以德国数学家FrankMittelbach为首组成LaTeX3
项目小组,负责对LaTeX的维护和开发工作,并于1994年推出目前广为使用的版本LaTeX2e。
LaTeX的缺点就是文稿编排不直观,命令繁杂,不易短时间熟练掌握。为此,国内外许多大学、出版公司和学术会议都提供相关的LaTeX模板,以便于论文写作。儘管如此,要想顺利完成论文写作,还是需要对LaTeX有所了解,如表格编排、插图处理等;而且各种模板互不兼容,如果不熟悉LaTeX,就很难灵活使用和修改,也就是说,学会使用某个LaTeX模板并不等于就会使用其他模板,更不等于学会使用LaTeX写作。
编着本书的目的是希望:初学者读后可以无师自通,能够自行顺利地使用LaTeX完成论文写作;对于熟悉LaTeX的读者,可作为这方面的工具书,随时查阅,例如遇到表格问题,可查阅\textbf{表格}一章,若是编译出现问题,可查阅\textbf{编译}一章,如果需要製作陈述幻灯片,可参阅幻灯片一章。
近年来国内使用最为广泛的中文LaTeX系统是CTeX中文套装,它所附带的文本编辑器是WinEdt,本书就是使用CTeX在WinEdt中编写的,书中介绍的所有LaTeX写作方法、技巧和示例都通过了CTeX的编译检查。
在本书中,网站、软体和档案格式等专用名使用大写罗马体书写;文类和宏包名使用小写等线体书写;环境、命令和档案名称使用打字机体书写。
本书附带有DVD资料光碟,其中的资料由两部分组成:1、CTeX中文套装,它分为Basic和Full两种版本。2、本书全部363个示例的源档案及其编译后生成的PDF档案。
