王之，女，博士学历。她于2013年5月从美国布朗大学(Brown University)经济系获得经济学博士学位。她的论文主要是城市经济学领域的套用微观研究，主要关注城市间工资增长差异的度量（urban wage-growth premium）、城市土地发展模式(urban land development pattern)的决定因素、土地利用规制（land use regulations）的执行以及其对房屋市场的影响、环境政策对企业空间布局的影响等问题。她还担任了Journal of Urban Economics，Journal of Public Economics，Annuals of Regional Science的匿名评审。她现面向研究生开设城市经济专题研究，面向本科生开设计量经济学、面向EMA学生开设Urbanization in China。
